One of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece, Zákynthos Island is located along the Ionian Sea and features lovely vistas both above and below the sea. It is only 9 miles from the west coast of the Peloponnese and accessible via a short boat journey from Greece's west coast.

This island boasts two of the most beautiful types of beaches—pebble and sand—with Shipwreck Beach being the most famous. Another stunning feature is the sea caves, like the Blue Caves, which can be found off the northern tip of the island. The sparkling water inside reflects the blue sky to create a magical glow on the cave walls. People would travel to Delphi to consult the priestess on a variety of issues, including farming, relationships, and politics.
